A board's condition affects the buying decision, but one word cannot explain everything you need to know. Before comparing prices, confirm that the options are the correct replacement and that you understand what each includes. A cheaper part is no longer directly comparable if it belongs to a different version.

Read the description of each unit

Assess a board described as new, used or refurbished using the information in its listing. Ask whether the photographs show the unit being offered and whether there are any relevant details to consider. For a refurbished part, request an explanation of any checks or work that can be documented; do not assume a particular process from the label alone.

A clean appearance or lack of visible marks does not establish functional condition on its own.

Compare references and included items

Check confirmed model compatibility, the complete reference and any stated revisions. Also check whether the sale is for the board alone or expressly includes accessories. A bracket, cable or cover visible in a photograph should not be assumed to be included if the description does not make this clear.

  • Reference and revision verified for the equipment.
  • Declared condition and available photographs.
  • Exact contents of the sale and applicable terms.

Consider the complete job

Ask the professional to assess replacement in the context of the equipment diagnosis. The spare part price is only one consideration: installation, any necessary configuration and availability also matter. Avoid buying several boards to try different options without a diagnosis that supports the decision.

Clarify how to report a problem

Read the published terms and ask before buying if anything is unclear. At Placa Electrónica, we accept a return or replacement when a board has a defect attributable to us. Keep the order details and part references so you can report any issue clearly. This is a different situation from voluntarily requesting another model.

Is your board faulty, or are you unable to find a replacement? Share its reference and the symptoms so we can assess a possible repair.

Ask about repairing this board

This guide supports identification and purchasing decisions. Board diagnosis, removal and installation should be carried out by qualified professionals following the equipment documentation.
